 SURFACE COMPATIBILITY: 
 
 The WD-40® multipurpose product is not harmful to metal, plastic or rubber surfaces. Including acetal, neoprene, HDPE, polysulfone PPS, Teflon, viton copolymer, steel, galvanized steel, galvanized copper, copper, magnesium, brass, nickel, tinplate, titanium and zinc. 
 
 DURATION AND PROTECTION: 
 
 Under actual conditions, the duration of protection obtained when using the WD-40® varies depending on the type of material to be protected and the conditions to which it is exposed. If more durable protection is required, the WD-40® should be applied periodically. 
 
 PRECAUTIONS FOR SURFACES: 
 
 Certain types of tires tend to swell after prolonged immersion in the WD-40® multipurpose product. Some wax cleaners and coatings may soften. Polycarbonate and clear polystyrene may weaken or crack after prolonged contact with the WD-40®. It is always advisable to test the WD-40® on a non-visible part of the surface.
