Shimano Deore XT SL-M8100 Shifter 

 The Shimano Deore XT SL-M8100 shift shifter allows fast and easy travel so that the rider can focus only on the route ahead. Compared to its predecessor, the SL-M8000, displacement operating force could be reduced by 35%, while main lever access is now 20% faster thanks to an intelligent design. In addition, the rubberized contact surface of the lever ensures maximum ergonomics. 

 Proven features like Rapidfire Plus, 2-Way, Instant and Multi-Release were, of course, embraced by their predecessor SL-M8100 shift shifters. 
 
 The shifter is pressed forward with the thumb to move up, but does not turn back as before, but remains locked in this position. To lower to the small chain, simply release this lock by pressing it again with your thumb or pulling it with your index finger. 
 Shimano Deore XT SL-M8100 Gear Shift Unlock Functions: 

 Instant Release enables faster changes by instantly releasing the cable when the trigger is activated. 

 Multi-Release (right shifter only) allows you to shift four gears at once in both directions.
